Senior HR Manager

Key responsibilities

  • Work closely with senior management team to advise and develop effective global HR solutions and strategies in alignment with the organisational goals

  • Establish and ensure an effective and cost-efficient HR service delivery, implementing outstanding process, procedure and project management

  • Manage the People team to include Recruitment Manager and HR/Office Coordinator;

  • Oversee and manage payroll, contracts, and all administration related to our employees

  • Own the relationships with our HR suppliers, including healthcare, pensions, insurance, and HR software providers

  • Provide the organisation with meaningful insights to enable effective planning, decision-making and improvement

  • Work with Marketing to build a strong employer brand, to attract new, and motivate existing IM talent

  • Deliver a Learning & Development programme to develop highly skilled and motivated teams

  • Maintain the company‚Äôs culture and formulate the employee experience with the aim of motivating and engaging our workforce

  • Constantly seek ways to improve employee retention including, but not limited to, regularly reviewing our remuneration, rewards, benefits and wellbeing initiatives

  • Train, coach and support managers to manage people effectively and to establish positive employee relations

  • Advise on employee relations matters to ensure positive outcomes


This is what you'll have done already
  • The successful candidate will have already held an HR Manager, or Senior HR Manager level role, and have an appetite to  take on a broader role with a lot of autonomy. Your experience will preferably be in a media or technology business that has experienced significant scaleup, or a similar fast-paced environment.   You will be fully up to speed with current employment legislation and minimum CIPD qualified, or equivalent.   You will be a great communicator who applies a solutions-focussed approach to problem solving. A team player, you will relish the challenge of engaging with team members from the Executive team to new recruits to create a first-class work culture.
