Client Services Director

The Campaign Activation team is responsible for the planning and management of campaigns against performance targets as well as the measurement and analysis of digital campaign data. This team leads the contact with the client and is responsible for the reporting and documentation output. It is also charged with identifying additional revenue opportunities for existing clients, creating proposals and presenting on strategy and campaign results.

The CSD leads the Campaign Activation team. They are a member of the company’s Senior Management Team, reporting to the Managing Director. The CSD oversees all aspects of client relationships to ensure that client retention and satisfaction, team satisfaction and client profitability remain high. They will promote a client-centric culture across the business and work with Client Partners to oversee the management of client P&Ls.


Here's what we'd like you to do:

Commercial

  • Work with Client Partners to protect and grow revenue from existing clients.

  • Manage internal expectations and deliver to agreed figures.

  • Take ownership of creating annual client revenue plans.

  • Network outside existing client contacts to protect and grow revenue.

Strategic
  • Provide a leadership role with major clients, acting as their most senior contact. Consulting with them on how to best achieve and exceed their objectives and making strategic and tactical recommendations.

  • Foster collaborative partnerships at a senior level within client companies (e.g. Managing, Marketing and Sales Directors, Procurement departments).

  • Operate at the broad strategic level during pitches and client discussions.

  • Work with the management team to identify and champion how we present ourselves to clients.

  • Identify, oversee, and deliver innovative and impactful solutions for new and existing clients.

  • Set the vision and goals for the department and communicate these clearly to the team.

People
  • Mentoring and management of the Client Partners who are empowered to manage day-to-day operations.

  • Ensure Client Partners are effectively managing relationships, and offer advice on opportunities to improve performance.

This is what you'll have done already:
  • 13+ years in online Media/Digital advertising

  • Proven experience of successful senior level client relationship management, engagement and account management.

  • An impressive track record of winning new business and growing existing business

  • Excellent knowledge of competitors and their position in the market

  • A record of leading high performing Client Services teams: conducting performance reviews, coaching, and implementing learning and development plans

  • Successfully managing revenue targets and forecasts

  • Advanced negotiation, presentation, communication and listening skills.
