Client Partner

Here's what we'd like you to do: 

Client responsibilities
  • Lead and develop overall client strategy against wider marketing and business objectives
  • Be a trusted advisor to our clients, in conjunction with the specialists within the business, across all areas of their programmatic activity, such as data activation, supply chain optimisation, testing strategies, measurement evolution, partner recommendation, optimisation evolution, designing roadmaps to deliver business goals, to name a few.
  • Grow new business from existing clients, spotting the opportunity to develop new and creative ways to add value
  • Maintain awareness of the overall performance of my different clients, working with the Client Services Director to resolve any problems 
  • Ensure robust financial management. Produce and monitor accurate spend and performance forecasting across all activation teams
  • Develop an extensive network within my client base to cement long term relationships.
  • Identify and resolve issues before they become critical
  • Work alongside sales to contribute to the pitch process including allocating team resources and strategic inputs
  • Continuously develop my knowledge and market understanding
People management responsibilities:
  • Team resource planning
  • Recruitment and retention of a best in class activation team.
  • Motivate, inspire and lead my team, fostering a culture of accountability and solution provision
  • Identify and nurture talent within the team
  • Manage the overall team development and learning.  Seek opportunities to mentor and coach as well as make recommendations of formal training programmes
  • Quickly identify and address people problems or issues within my team, escalating to the Client Services Director, if appropriate
  • Conduct half yearly assessments for direct reports and support managers as they conduct team assessments
  • Appropriate use of the company’s senior management to ensure strong client relationships
  • Effective delegation and escalation
  • Set an example and adhere to the company values and principles
  • Develop strong relationships with all colleagues based on good communications and collaboration
 My technical responsibilities are:
  • Comfortable around and proficient in the use of real-time advertising platforms
  • Visionary about the application of new products/technology for clients
  • Adept in the use of data, media and creative capabilities across all channels
This is what you'll have done already:
  • At least 8 years’ experience working within the media industry, with extensive digital or programmatic experience
  • Commercially minded, with an impressive track record of contributing to new business through pitches and growth of existing business
  • Proven track record of managing and building sizeable client accounts.
  • Good knowledge of our competitors and their position in the market
  • Experience of pro-actively managing and developing a strong account team.
  • Highly numerical and analytical
  • Comfortable and interested in technology
But, you may also have:
  • A consultancy background
  • A good network of industry connections
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Depth of programmatic knowledge 
  • Results oriented with proven sales experience. Experience selling / developing strategies around complex business areas  
  • Fluency in German would be a big plus
  • Experience working on pan European/international accounts
